Well if you do (and you know you do!), my friend Shawn, just started her own cake business here in Rochester, N.Y. Shawn is a wife, a mother, an artist and teacher. And for her summer days off Shawn has taken the plunge and put her talents out there for the rest of the world to enjoy.
Her company, and blog, Straight to Cake, just launched. Shawn's approach to the blog is a time line dating from her first foray into cake decorating with her daughter's first birthday and the subsequent trials and successes since. It's fun to see her progress and....well, drool over the pictures at the same time.
